THE Arizona cardinals will not have to face Geno Smith as a quarter-arre leaving for the Seattle Seahawks In 2025. They will not have to face him at all because the Seahawks exchanged him at the Raiders of Las Vegas for a choice of third round. Arizona will not face the Looters In 2025 in the regular season.
And good riddling!
Smith had been a problem for the cardinals. Since he replaced Russell Wilson as a quarter-back from the Seahawks in 2022, he had 6-0 against Arizona. In these six departures, he launched eight passes from Touché and only three interceptions. Now, the cardinals have never had to offend Smith, but they have not scored more than 21 points in a match against Seattle since he became their starter.
So now, the cardinals will have to face someone else at the quarter-Arrière twice in 2025.
Who will he be? We will know it early enough with the free agency from Monday.
