THE Brown Add a veteran offensive tackle thanks to a late evening agreement. Cornelius Lucas accepted a two -year agreement worth $ 10 million, confirmed his agent Dan Saffron to the Beacon Journal.

Lucas, 33, played 129 regular season games over 11 years with the Detroit lions,, Rams of Los Angeles,, Saint-Orleans saints,, Chicago Bears And Washington Commanders. He has spent the past five years in Washington
The product of the Kansas State University played 14 regular season games, as well as the three qualifying games last season for the second NFC commanders. He made seven departures.
Lucas found a house in Washington after rebounding in the league during his first six years. After playing in 53 games from 2014 to 29 with the Lions, Rams, Saints and Bears, he played in 76 games, including 38 departures, with the commanders.
Pro Football Focus ranked Lucas at 74.1 out of 100 in total last season with Washington. He obtained a PFF note of 79.1 for his pass blocking.
Lucas gives Browns a veteran tackle to join a group that has treated several injuries in recent seasons. Jack Conklin started the last 12 games last season last season after his return from a knee injury to the second quarter of the 2023 season which wiped out this season.
Dawand Jones played 10 games with eight departures, including three on the left, last year before a second end of season injury in as many years in week 11. Jones also underwent an arthroscopic knee operation, although it should be ready for the training camp.
