Cincinnati – The Bengals of Cincinnati are interested in signing the former Bears goalkeeper of Chicago Teven Jenkins in the Free Agency, said league sources in Bengalstalk.com.
Jenkins, 27, is considered the best guard remaining on the market for free agents. He appeared in 45 games, making 38 departures in the last four seasons for the Bears. Chicago took him with the 39th choice in total to the recovery of the NFL 2021.
Bengals hope to sign Jenkins, but they are not alone. The New York Giants and Seattle Seahawks are also interested in the old choice of the second round.
Jenkins posted a global note of 75.4 according to Pro Football Focus last season.
With several teams interested in its services, it will be interesting to see how Bengals are doing in what could very well be a war of tenders for the guard of veterans.
The giants have already added several parts to their secondary and do everything they can to save their work. They recruit Aaron Rodgers and would like Jenkins to block for him.
Meanwhile, the Seahawks have lost fries and hope to land Jenkins instead.
We do not know what the offers look like, but with three interested teams, it would not be shocking to see Jenkins get his choice of three or four years. The players look at shorter contracts so that they can return to the market faster.
Bengals may have to be in the range of $ 40 to 45 million from $ 40 to 45 million dollars if they will beat the Giants and the Seahawks to sign Jenkins.
