The former Rusher Edge Patriots of New England Joshua Uche went from a competitor of the Super Bowl to another.
The Eagles of Philadelphia announced Thursday that they accepted a one -year agreement With Uche, who the patriots exchanged the chiefs of Kansas City in the middle of last season for a choice of sixth round in 2026. The money attached to the agreement was not disclosed.
Uche rarely played once he arrived with the chiefs, then looked from the touch while the Eagles moved away with the Lombardi trophy. Now he will have the opportunity to help Eagles try to win consecutive titles.
Philadelphia could actually be a perfect adjustment for Uche, which the Patriots drafted in the second round of the NFL 2020 draft. Uche showed in 2022 when he collected a career summit of 11.5 bags which he could perform well in front of a professional professional pass rusher like Matthew Judon.
But apart from this season, Uche has never encountered its potential with the Patriots. During the other three seasons and more than he spent with New England, he combined for nine bags.

Uche will have the chance to be part of the defensive line of the Eagles, which includes Jalen Carter and Jordan Davis. The opposite fronts focusing on these two could create an easier path towards the quarter-arre for Uche, which only recorded two bags last season.
Uche shaped his game after the longtime star of the Eagles and his compatriot Michigan Brandon Graham. Uche might have a chance to be teammates with Graham if Graham does not decide to retire after 15 seasons with the Eagles.
