It was a solid week for the Buccaneers of Tampa Bay in terms of the free agency of the NFL. They managed to re-sign the wide receiver of the veterans Chris Godwin, even if many thought it would be too expensive for them to do so. They also hung the veteran of passers -by Haason Reddick and kept the second Lavonte David, who has been one of their pillars in defense for many years.
On Friday, they obtained another of their veterans to stay in a new agreement. The Large Sterling Shepard recipient would have accepted a one -year agreement in order to stay in Tampa Bay.

Shepard is not a prolific player – he has never reached 1,000 reception yards in a season – but he is a beautiful depth piece for a team of Buccaneers who made the playoffs four years in a row and seeks to take the next step.
They signed him last June after spending his first eight seasons with the New York Giants. In 2024, he caught 32 passes for 334 yards and a touchdown while adding 69 yards to the ground on eight attempts.
The native of Oklahoma achieved 683 reception yards and eight affected as a recruit in 2016. He was originally a second-round recovery choice that year, and the move on Friday will allow him to continue to catch the quarter-Arrière Baker Mayfield, his former teammate of his last season with the Oklahoma Sooners.
