The Ravens of Baltimore have signed the quarter-Arrière Cooper Rush to save the double MVP Lamar Jackson.
The Ravens announced the move on Tuesday.
Rush started eight games for Dallas Cowboys last season while Dak Prescott was injured. The central product of Michigan, 31 years old, ended the season with an 83.8 passer note. He appeared in 38 games in his career since his debut in 2017 with the Cowboys.
Josh Johnson was Jackson’s main backup last season, only trying three passes. He is a free agent without restriction.
The Ravens also have a quarter Devin Leary, a sixth round recovery choice last year.
