A project of perspective to monitor the pre-Rôti process continues to take place for the Indianapolis colts Does the Oregon State offensive Tackle Gerad Christian-Lichtenhan.
In a Interview with Justin Melo of the network project, Christian-Lichtenhan mentioned that the Foal were part of a few teams with which he had a “big” meeting with the Sancier East-West.
Christian-Lichtenhan is the size and length that the teams often covet on the position of the tackle, measuring 6-8 to 328 pounds with arms of almost 36 inches.
“I know there are good and bad things that come with the waist. I work to lower with more consistency,” Christian-Lichtenhan told Melo. “I sometimes become a little high because my hips are so much larger than most.
“On the other hand, I have a huge advantage with regard to the length of my arm. I probably have three or four inches on most of the rushers I meet. If I receive this first contact, I have three or four inches of separation before I could even get my hands.”
After three seasons in Colorado, Christian-Lichtenhan ended his university career at Oregon State in 2024. He played 2,211 snaps in an attack career, which includes the start of the 2023 and 2024 seasons in the left tackle.
During this last season, Christian-Lichten was exceptional in the protection of passes, allowing only three bags and 12 pressures while recording the seventh best score of blocking of passes among the plated. By Pff Metric of passage of passage of passes, he ranked 40th out of 105 offensive plated.
In the racing game, Christian-Lichtenhan ranked 21st in the PFF blocking note.
With Matt Goncalves who potentially passes the tray to the custody with Will Fries in Minnesota, the colts must strengthen their depth of offensive tackle and need to find a stable presence of swinging on the bench. Blake Freeland did not show that he could play this role.
“I prefer to be used as an athlete in space,” said Christian-Lichtenhan. “The telephone booth is a little more difficult when you have such long arms like me. You have almost too much time to align your target and use your lever effect. I think I am an excellent athlete when you have me in space.”
