The Buffalo Bills knew they had to make major changes on the defensive side of the ball by speaking.
After another defeat in playoffs against Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs of Kansas City, the Bills concentrated their efforts on the defensive side in free agency with the signature of Joey Bosa and Tre’davious White. They also attacked it during the draft using six of their nine choices on defensive players.

Due to the entire talent infusion, there is a player who can be on thin ice with the organization.
The former choice of second round AJ Epenesa is in the last year of his agreement with the invoices and is looking for a new contract. He recorded six bags in each of the last three seasons. But with the Arkansas Edge Landon Jackson, written in the third round, associated with all the other additions on the defense, Epenesa’s time could run out.
Sterling Xie of Pro Football Network is also clear with this thought.
“Now entering a year of contract, Epenesa is in a much more crowded on -board rusher room. The Bills have signed Joey Bosa and Michael Hoecht in a free agency, while writing a very similar player in Landon Jackson in the third round,” Xie wrote. “Jackson does not have the most natural turn, but is an explosive and strong athlete which could reproduce part of the value in three cuts of Epenesa.

“You can never have enough pass rushers, but if Buffalo adds another on -board rusher like Von Miller, Epenesa would be a devious sales candidate.”
Epenesa can very well save playing time in the 2025 season and not be moved. This has always been the Mantra of invoices since Sean McDermott became head coach.
But it seems that the role of Epenesa in the team is at least a little more in the air.
And that alone made it consumable in 2025.
