The Titans of Tennessee certainly revised their attack on this offseason, in particular in the draft of the NFL where they landed the quarter-Arrière Cam Ward, the wide receptors Elic Ayomanor and Chimere Dike and the tight winger Gunnar Helm.
However, Will Lomas of Titan size identified a weapon already on the Tennessee list which could have a big impact in 2025: the receiver Jha’quan Jackson.
The Titans selected Jackson in the sixth round of the NFL 2024 draft, but he only succeeded in eight yards during his recruit campaign. Despite this, Lomas believes that Jackson could finally become one of Ward’s favorite targets next season.
“Rookie QB Cam Ward is an aggressive launcher outside the script, which could open the door to Jackson to carve out a role as a rotation slot receiver”. Lomas wrote. “Its main competition will be a rapid chimera rookie dike, Florida’s recruit. The titans have greeted Dike for its versatility, and with its speed, they could consider it as a Z receiver behind Calvin Ridley. If that is how they see Dike, then the speed of Jackson in the slot could separate it from Tyler Lockett and Xavier Restrepo, which is shorter.
Jackson manages a 4.42 -second dashboard of 40 yards, so he has permanently speed to win a certain separation and play games in the open field.
The 24 -year -old spent five seasons in Tulane and was not extremely productive, totaling 109 receptions for 1,743 yards and 17 affected, but it was his skills set and his nervous athletic capacity that makes him a rather attractive escape candidate before next year.
Tennessee will certainly need someone outside of Calvin Ridley to intervene in 2025, and although the Titans probably have more on Ayomanor and Dike to fulfill this role, it is quite possible that Jackson can surprise certain people.
