East Rutherford, NJ (AP) – Jaxson Dart absolutely shone during his beginnings for the New York Giants.
And he can thank the jewelry collection of his sister for this.
The quarter-Arrière of the first round appeared for his press conference after his first practice of Rookie Minicamp on Friday bearing a dazzling necklace which presented brilliant hearts and filled with diamonds. And the bling drew everyone’s attention, especially when the team’s interior lights shone.

“So my little sister had her, it was hers,” said a smiling dart. “It was before our Bowl match and as I left the house at Christmas – a short break before the Bowl match – and I saw him in his room. And I said to myself, you know what, I love it a little.
“So I put it and it’s a bit likely for me since.”
At the Gator Bowl in January, Dart was selected the MVP after directed the Mississippi to a 52-20 battery from Duke while wearing the necklace. He launched 404 yards and four affected, cementing one of the best available quarters in the draft.
The giants were so fascinated by the talent of Dart that they exchanged in the first round last month to take him with the 25th choice in total. The 21-year-old quarterrier seemed to wear the necklace that day-and again when he was officially presented by the team.
“She likes it, she likes it,” said a smiling dart when she asked her what her sister thinks he was wearing his jewelry. “Now my little brother has ordered one too.”
It was not immediately known if the necklace really contains diamonds or which material it was done, but it remains in the Dart neck for the moment. Oh, and her sister finally replaced her jewelry box.
“Yeah, we also had another,” said the quarter-arre.
Dart joins the apparently without pressure to play this season since New York signed the veterans Russell Wilson – who should be the starter – and Jameis Winston as free agents.
But being on the sidelines will be a new experience for Dart, which has been a starter for as long as he can remember.
“I didn’t really sit before,” he said.
This dates from his high school days in UTAH, followed by a one -year -old passage to the USC where he started three games in the first year, then three years at Ole Miss.
“I am a competitor, so I will come to work every day and do my best to improve everyone around me,” he said. “I understand what the situation is, but for me and myself, I care to win. There is nothing fun to lose, so no matter where you are on the depth board, if you play as much or do not play as much, if you lose, that (stinking).
“So, for me, I want to improve the team, and that’s my goal.”
DART carries the n ° 6 on his first jersey with the Giants – he was n ° 2 to Ole Miss – but he recognized that calling an audible could still be at stake.
“Yeah, I think we will soon make a final decision here,” said Dart. “Quite honestly, I just have to look at the photos to see if I love myself in (no.) 6.”
