The Pittsburgh steelers have done something that many have speculated that they would have been doing for some time now and exchanged their best wide receiver.
The team exchanged George Pickens and a choice of sixth round in 2027 at Dallas Cowboys in exchange for a third -round choice in 2026 and a choice of fifth round in 2027. This gives Cowboys someone to put next to Ceedee Lamb, and gives the Steelers more capital for the future.

Many wondered whether or not the agreement was a food idea for the Steelers, but the team managing the team, Omar Khan, justified the move shortly and gently.
“This business was logical for everyone,” Khan told journalists at the Friday’s press conference.
Pickens was drafted by the Steelers with the 52nd choice in total in the second round of the NFL 2022 draft, and has made reflections for the team in the last three seasons.
But behind fenced doors, there would have been difficulties in changing rooms which were too much to manage for the team, and it may have been a fairly important factor in Pittsburgh who finally left the former Bulldog of Georgia.

Pickens finished last season with 900 yards and three affected in just 14 games. He missed three games due to a tension with the hamstrings, but he will try to bounce right away and stay on the field in 2025.
The Steelers can learn to regret this descent on the road, but for the moment, Khan and the rest of the team seem satisfied with the way everything went, because it could improve the chemistry of the locker room.
