In many ways, the latest offseason was one of the rebirths of the Washington commanders.
Trigged down by the decision of director Josh Harris to an almost completely clean house, the front office and the coaches staff who not only pumped fresh blood in the organization of commanders, he relaunched a franchise once left for the dead by the rest of the NFL.
After a regular start to the season of 12 wins and deep playoffs, Washington transformed this off-season to a quarter-Arrière Jayden Daniels. Among the movements to ensure that Daniels is implemented for a complete success is the addition of the Deebo Samuel receiver, NFL analyst Marc Ross The most anticipated beginnings of the season.

“The commanders arrived in the match for the title NFC at the back of the transcendent campaign of Jayden Daniels. The best receiver with which he played Terry McLaurin.
Some are tired of what Samuel will bring commanders to the offensive while most remain at the worst carefully optimistic.
Those who doubt the impact indicate the problems reported with the weight of the receiver last season as well as the drop in production in the years that followed his effort in 2021, the best of his career so far.
During his last season by playing for the 49ers of San Francisco, Samuel collected 51 passes winning 670 yards and marking three affected in the process. As a double threat playmaker, he also added 136 other yards on the ground on 42 attempts, marking once on the field.
While 2024 was in fact a year of production for Samuel compared to the rest of his seasons, and he landed outside the Top 32 among the receptors in yards, the veteran has always ranked among the 40s of the melee, putting it just outside the window.
In fact, although their matches are very different, the receiver of the Eagles of Samuel and Philadelphia, Devonta Smith, who consider that many considered the broad receiver No. 1, finished less than 30 meters at the end of the regular season.
Admittedly, Smith played two less games, but Samuel played without AJ Brown and Saquon Barkley.
When you take into account Samuel’s ability to also contribute to special teams, he finished third among all receivers in all use sites. So, at the bottom of the year, of course, but ineffective?
Given that Washington only granted a choice of choice of fifth round and a wage ceiling space which they do not really need for the moment to bring it, from where we sit down, we are also looking forward to seeing what Samuel can do in 2025.
