While the Pittsburgh steelers boast of one of the most classic and sympathetic uniforms in the NFL, they were also accused of having had some of the worst returns.
Of course, it is because of their longevity in the league. Most of the teams that were in the 1930s and 40s had fairly terrible uniforms depending on today’s standards.

Previously, Pittsburgh had broken out what was described as the “Bumblebee jerseys” which honored their 1934 team. They also worn all the golden helmets, reflecting on their original look from 1933 to 1962.
Steelers uniforms and familiar black and gold colors, as well as the traditional helmet with the logo on one side, are synonymous with success and the team that the Rooney family built during these 91 years.
Earlier this month, Fanduel reported that Pittsburgh could be one of the five teams to burst new helmets in 2025.
“The Steelers seem to be about to rekindle their golden helmets, which they wore from their foundation in 1933 to the 1962 season, as well as for the return matches from 2007 to 2000″, ” Fanduel wrote. “They would probably wear them with their colored peak uniforms, which, apart from the black pants, are similar to the aforementioned return set, which included white britches.”

Wednesday, we obtained a little more clarification of the president of the Steelers, Art Rooney.
“We are going to have a new return uniform this year, and with a new helmet to accompany it,” said Rooney. “We plan to wear our new feedback for the Packers match on Sunday evening October 26.
“It will be fun to carry our feedback against one of the older franchises in the league – it seems simply appropriate.”
Speculation is that the gold helmet will return with a new rush uniform to colors. Rooney said that it was not the only game that they will burst the new look.
“We will do our color racing uniforms at the end of the year. I think we are going to do it for the match on Monday evening on December 15 against the dolphins of Miami “,” said Rooney.
