The most likely quarter of Pittsburgh Steelers for the 2025 NFL season is Aaron Rodgers.
At this stage, the free agent and the future temple of fame seems to be the overwhelming favorite of the post.
But the more the saga of rodgers takes place without contract, the more things are anxious for the fans of the Steelers.
What if Pittsburgh rather took a gigantic swing of trade?
One of the most exciting quarters of the NFL, Kyler Murray of the Cardinals of Arizona, seems to be in commercial rumors each offseason.
Plus: Deshaun Watson of Browns makes a stupid decision
Nothing has yet been materialized, and Arizona has invested massively in its past sensors in recent years, so Murray certainly does not seem to be a priority to move.
But what happens if Pittsburgh called with several first-round choices to offer in addition to other assets?
Murray would immediately be the best QB with double threat of Pittsburgh since Kordell Stewart.
It is expensive, of course, but it is worth it, especially if the alternatives are Mason Rudolph or Will Howard.
It is less difficult to understand the Pittsburgh team than to see Arizona’s perspective. But at one point, I have the impression that the cardinals are supposed to win a big match, and they have not really done it with Murray yet.
Given the strength of the QB class of the NFL 2026 draft, it would be the year to adopt a reservoir in the hope of winning a starry quarter for the future.
Pittsburgh does not take years of leave, so the acquisition of Murray would be both a chance in another winning season and also an opportunity to grow with a quarter-back in the next two seasons.
This match will probably not happen because Rodgers will likely perform.
But if nothing else, it is a funny thought. Murray would bring a lot of joy to the fans of the Steelers, and the cardinals could be relieved to continue a new start which does not include coherent QB trade rumors against their star.
