During the Spring League meeting on Wednesday, the owners voted 32-0 to allow NFL players to participate in Football Drapeau during the next summer Olympic Games.

As noted by nfl.comA maximum of one team player can be authorized to participate in the Olympic Games, as well as all international track players (PPI) for their respective countries. Regarding FoalThe tight winger Maximillian Mang is the designated PPI of Indianapolis.
In October 2023, the Olympic International Committee voted to make Football Drapeau an official sport. The lists of 10 men will be selected by each participating country.
The next step for the NFL is to negotiate arrangements with the NFLPA. Other details include protection against injury and salary ceiling credits for teams if a player had to injure himself.
The 2028 Olympic Games will take place in Los Angeles from July 14 to 30.

Some current foals that could make noise on the flag football field include Jonathan Taylor, Josh Downs, Tyler Warren, Anthony Richardson and Charvarius Ward.
