Ohio State Buckeyes were able to see many of their players drafted last month, and the quarter-Arrière Will Howard and the defensive winger Jack Sawyer, who both had a huge impact on the winning list of the 2025 national championship, will start their career in Pittsburgh.
The Steelers were an eternally solid organization, so they could not be in a much better house. There were two of the 14 buckeyes who heard their names called throughout the 3 -day event. In fact, Howard, who was the 185th choice of draft, was the last Buckeyes player to be removed from the table.
With four first round choices, including two of offensive line players, Ohio State was a well -represented program. That said, Howard sat with Kay Adams, and something whose duo has spoken was Sawyer and his presence at Pittsburgh. Let’s just say Howard strongly talks about Sawyer and his work ethics and clearly thinks that he will prosperate in the Steelers.
Sawyer, who brought back an escape from the house against Texas, transformed the Buckeyes last season. The old five -star recruit was a star of Ohio State and has the tenacity of also being at the highest level. The 6 -foot 4 -inch defense also had its best season in Columbus in 2024, ending with nine bags and 59 combined plated.
As for Howard, when he fell further than expected, he also has the capacity to be a star for Pittsburgh, a desperate team for a quarter of quality. With Mutliple Years of Commanding of a quality team 1, Howard could be able to get a shot from the door, it will therefore be revealing to see how the training camp is taking place for the former Buckey star.
Nevertheless, the two will clearly have fun being able to compete with each other at Pittsburgh, and with Mike Tomlin always at the helm, they should be able to start their hot careers.
