Houston’s Texans resume an interesting defensive before the 2025 season.

According to several reports, the Texans have accepted conditions to sign the defensive defender Myles Bryant.

In addition to the signing of the Texans de Bryant, they also reduced Kingsley Jonathan, the wardrobe Jerome Carvin, while also adding the non-drained free agent, Keydrain Calligan.

Bryant, 27, spent his first year with the Texans in the 2024 campaign after joining the New England Patriots on board after four seasons and 55 games. In 11 games, the defensive back of 5 feet 9 inch and 192 pounds recorded 14 plated in total (11 solo, three assisted).

During the 2024 season, Bryant ended up collecting a PFF note in total of 61.7, landing the 108th on 222 eligible corners, while landing in the first 50 corners for its Pff Pass-Rush note of 64.5. However, with regard to his coverage note, he filed a score of 57.6, ranking 139th in this same swimming pool.

During his stay in New England, Bryant even had a little time to fill an outside starter – food to start in 17 games in total in four seasons, collecting 200 combined plated, 17 pbu and four interceptions in his mandate. The former Patriots Corner spent four years at the University of Washington before finding his way in the mixture of the NFL as a free agent not drafted.

Bryant will probably not be online to manage the reins as a starter for the coming year in Houston (this responsibility will rely on the duo of Derek Stingley Jr. and Kamari Lassiter, but he will now have another chance to adapt to the Texans for a second consecutive year, and could take it once more as an interesting event to the reduction of Houston for 2025 years.
