Ranking of positional groups of the 2025 loaders from the best to the worst

THE Chargers Enter the compulsory mini-camp this week, which will give us the first overview of how Jim Harbaugh and its staff see the list of the entering the 2025 season.

In this spirit, let us classify the Los Angeles position units from the best to the worst while the intersane program is speeding.

    Strategist

Each team crosses its quarter-arre, and the charges have one of the best in the league with Justin Herbert at the helm. Taylor Heinicke is a good backup, even if Los Angeles hopes he will never have to play. Trey Lance is a leaflet on the talent that made him select in the first round and gives the chargeers a little more a double threat look on the Scout team.

    Special teams

The botter Cameron Dicker and the Long Vivaneau Josh Harris have been among the best in the League and have been for a few years. The JK Scott bettor talks about the average of the league and has phenomenal performance stretches, but has slightly struggling to turn the ground. For an offense of the charges which hopes that none of their records is opposed to the depths of their territory, it is not the worst problem to have.

    Security

Derwin James has just been appointed All-Pro last season, and Elijah Molden signed a strong contract extension during the offseason to return to the charge. Alohi Gilman is a solid starter on the back, with James and Molden wandering a little more on the ground. Depth is a slight concern here – James and Gilman have missed a handful of matches in their careers, and Molden returns from a broken leg and torn meniscus that he suffered at the end of last season.

    Rusher on board

Joey Bosa will put on a different uniform for the first time in almost a decade this season, which leaves the loads with Khalil Mack and Tuli Tuipulotu as beginners. Mack is always a rusher with high -end passes, but he is starting to lose a step while minor injuries catch him throughout a decade. Tuipulotu has not yet taken the celebrity jump, but was a solid player for Los Angeles for his first two seasons. Add Bud Dupree, just extended to an agreement of one year until 2026, and the fourth round Kennard, and the charges have a good stable of rushers of pass ready to obtain after the quarter.

    Second

Daiyan Henley broke out significantly last season and quickly became one of the best seconds in the League, especially on the cover. The veteran Denzel Perryman is the best defender of the team and solidifies an otherwise very young unit. The second -year Junior Colson player should take a step forward with a clean health ticket, which could make one of the best units in the league.

    Back

Najee Harris is a solid workhorse that has never missed an NFL match, and its stabilizing presence in the back field next to Herbert should help the loaders maintain the offensive on time. The first round Omarion Hampton will also have a lot of chance, which could give the a real punch 1-2 that they lacked last season. The attacking coordinator Greg Roman has also praised the second year of reception of Kimani Vidal this off -season.

    Wide receiver

Ladd McConkey looks like a star in the making, but the biggest question is who will emerge by his side in this body of the charges. Mike Williams is back and has another year of recovery behind him after his LCA tear, but he is no longer the player he was in the past. Quentin Johnston always has the optimism of the coaches in his corner and took a step in front last season, but has not yet been up to his billing in the first round. The loads also added the second round, Tre Harris and the fifth round, Keandre Lambert-Smith, which the coach of the large receivers Sanjay Lal both declared in the form of the NFL. Harris is the joker here – if he develops quickly, the charges can be found with a strong group at the post as soon as possible.

    Corner

The biggest question here is whether second -year students Cam Hart and Tarheeb can still execute at the level they have made as recruits. The two fifth rounds a year ago, Hart maintained a border point while still doing the slit and bounced outside if necessary, obtaining a vote for the defensive recruit of the year. Hart is now recovering from shoulder surgery in January and is expected soon. On the other hand, the charges added the veteran Donte Jackson, a reliable starter who replaces Kristian Fulton, who left for Kansas City.

    Offensive line

Rashawn Slater and Joe Alt are a phenomenal duo in the offensive tackle and the addition of Mekhi Becton to the right guard should go very far, but the rest of the interior is what leads to this classification. The loaders have Trey Pipkins, Zion Johnson, Bradley Bozeman and Andre James fighting for the last two departure places after Pipkins, Johnson and Bozeman combined to understand one of the worst interior offensive lines of the League. There are still many question points surrounding Johnson who was potentially moving to the center and Bozeman in competition in Guard, which leaves too much uncertainty to settle to be confident that the unit as a whole will be significantly improved.

    END

The loads have made a tight -end resaison reshaping, replacing Hayden Hurst and Stone Smartt with Tyler Conklin and the fifth round Oronde Gadsden II. Conklin should take most of Will Disly’s reception tasks, which was forced to pay more role when Hurst was injured. Both are functional blockers that will help in the race game. Gadsden is built more like SmartT as essentially a large wide receiver and will probably have an affair as a pass sensor while it develops its blockage. The unit still does not have a star, but it is in a better place than last season.

    Defensive tackle

There is a lot of potential in this room, but not a ton of proven production. Poona Ford moved through the city to join the Rams after a stellar season with the loaders in 2024 and Morgan Fox is now in Atlanta, which leaves Los Angeles Tart, Otito Ogbonnia and Justin Eboigbe as the only return on the line. The coaches staff seem high on Eboigbe, but asking him to replace Fox, who led the team in internal pressures last season, is a high task. It also added the players in Da’Shawn Hand and Naquan Jones and wrote the replacement of Ford Jamaree Caldwell in the third round. Caldwell’s development will be crucial for the success of this unit.
