The Kansas City chiefs are currently preparing for the 2025 NFL season during which they will try to win their third consecutive AFC championship and bounce back from last year’s Super Bowl defeat against the Eagles of Philadelphia. While the Chiefing Dynasty began with a focal point on their attack, it was the defense of Kansas City that, in many ways, stole the spotlight in the last two years under the direction of Steve Spagnuolo.

Recently, Spagnuolo stopped at the Podcast “New Heights” of Jason and Travis Kelce to discuss the way things went so far among the OTA chiefs, and he I had a joke On the forecasting of the heads’ offensive under the head coach Andy Reid.

“Let me tell you about the headaches that we have to cross in ota. The only headache that we don’t have to pass, we don’t have to worry about defending the race,” said Spagnuolo. “Each call we make in the OTAs and the training camp is to stop the pass. It could be 2nd and 1, we will defend the pass. ”

Travis Kelce then specified why the chefs are so reluctant to go to the race, even in apparently obvious situations.

“Well, these are always special situations and yes, we like to have the ball in the hands of Pat Mahomes. I mean that there is nothing wrong with that,” said Kelce.

At one point last year, the Chiefs seemed to win their third consecutive Super Bowl championship; However, everything stopped with a demolition in the hands of the Eagles of Philadelphia on the biggest scene of the game.

The chiefing offensive line could not buy a lot of time Patrick Mahomes in this match, and the defense of Kansas City also organized a mainly bad performance despite the control of Saquon Barkley.

The two parties will have to work better if the chiefs want to bounce back this year and win their third Super Bowl in four seasons, which will not be an easy feat given the talented depth currently in the NFL.

The chiefs will open their season on September 5 against Los Angeles in Brazil.
