“Listen, the development process of a quarter-Arrière is only that,” said head coach Brian Daboll in May. “We are going to do our best to develop and bring it.”
Of course, the teams feel pressure to start the quarter recruits, especially those selected in the first round. And since the giants exchanged against Dart, he probably feels the weight of the world on his shoulders.
For these reasons, Josh Edwards of CBS Sports thinks that Dart will find himself under the center before the end of the regular season of 2025, appointing him one of the Top recruits with something to prove at the next team mini-camp.
The giants exchanged in the first round to secure Dart. There had been rumors on the front office and the enthusiasm of coach staff for the quarter-back before the night of the draft and leadership did nothing to hide these feelings after the selection. Dart is perhaps the key to coach Brian Daboll and the fate of general manager Joe Schoen beyond this season.
In the short term, New York will almost certainly launch the veteran Russell Wilson Wilson Week 1, but the franchise should prepare for the end of the action at the end of the season.
After a performance from top to bottom, Dart will certainly have all his eyes on him in Minicamp. But given the first plans of the giants for him, does he really have something to “prove?” Perhaps if the circumstances were different, but for the moment, all that must prove is that it is ready to put the work and to be coachable.
