The northwest head coach David Braun continues to hit the recruitment cycle in 2026 hard, offering another offensive player today. Tom McGlinchey, three stars, a quarter-Arrière at high school, received an offer as earthmoving this afternoon.
McGlinchey is the younger brother of the NFL seven -year veterinarian, Mike McGlinchey, who is currently playing an offensive tackle for Denver broncos. Tom has announced its offer today on X.
After a great conversation with @DavidbraunfbI am extremely grateful to have received an offer from the Northwestern University! @NufBfamily @Creightp @Coachlujan @Cjyespelkis @pcquakersfb @PrzvicCastillo @PafootBallNEWS pic.twitter.com/mvwoqkcyc

The young McGlinchey is currently playing the quarter-arre for William Penn Charter High School, but he is listed as an “athlete” on his page 247Sports. Standing at 6 feet 6 inches with a weight of 230 pounds, he has his body to play at a tight level at the next level despite his background as a signal.
His older brother had a solid career in the NFL as a starter. He spent five seasons with the 49ers of San Francisco after being selected in the first round of the 2018 NFL draft, and he has now been with broncos for two seasons since the end of his recruit.
The tight room of Northwestern is currently a little suspicious after staples last season like Thomas Gordon and Marshall Lang obtained their diploma. The drainage of this position group for the future would be a careful movement on the part of Braun, and the 13 current commits, none of them is tight.
Nabbing McGlinchey would be a good level for the Wildcats of a family with a NFL pedigree. He is currently in competition with schools like Duke, Air Force and Syracuse for his services, so he is certainly a reasonable target. Northwestern hopes to bring it into and develop it in a large tight end to ten levels.
