The former Large recipient of the NFL, Allen Robinson, thinks that the Detroit lions would certainly have achieved high goals in 2024 if the injuries do not completely derail their season.
Appearing in the program “The Heavyweights” This week, the talented Large shared his reflections on the reasons why the team was turned upside down by the Washington commanders from his point of view.
“For me, I had the impression, on the basis of injuries, it was as if we were a team – our grip slipped with a cliff. This is what it was,” said Robinson. “While we bleak and more people were injured, it was as if we were just losing grip. As far as staff are concerned, a healthy team, many people say that, but I think last year, a healthy team of strait, we win the Super Bowl. It’s easy to say sometimes. But in addition, when you need everyone.”
After a regular season of 15-2, Detroit obtained the seeded n ° 1 in the NFC for the first time in the history of the franchise.
Unfortunately, the team treated a plethora of players who landed on the list of injured reserves.
The director general Brad Holmes recalled in a recent podcast interview how the staff service had to find players in the training teams of other teams at one point last year.
“In the end, if we had healthy Hutch (Aidan Hutchinson), if we had some of the players in healthy secondary. We had CD (Carlton Davis), he was injured, and some of our other seconds, Alim (McNeill) was injured. For us, when you play these calibers of players who deeply in the eliminatory series.
“Certainly, we had a team that had a great depth, and I think that our depth held up throughout the year. When you enter the playoffs, injuries (have a big impact).”
