The training camps opened through the NFL this week, and the Lions of Detroit and Los Angeles Loaders will meet in Canton, Ohio, on July 31 to officially launch the pre-season.
As the excitement for the 2025 season is built, at least one ball carrier will likely spend the month of August watch from the key line.
The persistent problem of the ankle of Houston Texans Joe Mixon’s star should prevent him from ensuring this pre-season.

Mixon started the training camp on the non-football list. The appointment of the list intervened after Mixon seemed to undergo an ankle injury earlier this offseason. He did not take the ground during Minicamp.

This is not the first time that Mixon has been fighting against the ankle problems. He was sidelined for three games in 2024 after aggravating his ankle. Mixon also held two games in 2022 with a concussion.
He is dealing with a few visible ankle sprains in 2021, although he still managed to appear in 16 games this season. A foot injury in week 6 of 2020 ended the Mixon season.

The 29 -year -old has just come out of a strong season, rushing for 1,016 yards in 2024. Mixon also run for 11 affected and obtained a reception score last year.
The Texans added to the runner room during the offseason by signing Nick Chubb All-Pro. The Houston Front Office has also passed a selection of fourth round draft on Woody Marks.

The Texans open their pre-season on August 9 against the Vikings of Minnesota.
