Now, capture of reigning MVP bullets, newly signed receiving invoices are ready for a big role

Elijah Moore clearly indicated that her 200 career receptions separated between four seasons with the Plane And Brown should have been more.

“I stand responsible and I have the impression that I could have done more with some of my opportunities,” said Moore after his third practice of the training camp with the Buffalo billsHis third team since entering the NFL in 2021.

Some would say that the capture of 200 quarter-Arrière Zach Wilson, Mike White and Joe Flacco passes with the jets, and Flacco, Deshaun Watson, Jameis Winston and Dorian Thompson-Robertson with the Browns are downright remarkable. But that’s not how Moore sees it.

“In the past, growing young, I may have left some of these moments to always have to change the type, trying to adapt to other quarters, then maybe this guy is also injured,” said Moore. “Just the hike of things affected me. So now, since I lived these three, four times, now I feel like it’s just ready for anything.”

Buffalo Bills Elijah Moore runs on the ground with the ball during the Buffalo Bills training camp at St. John Fisher University in Pittsford on July 24, 2025.

What is ready with the Bills is finally an opportunity to play with a legitimate superstar to Josh Allen. There were several reasons for which Moore chose to sign with the Bills once they showed a concern of interest, and the reigning league MVP was at the top of the list.

“Yeah, I do it,” said Moore when he was asked if he notices a big difference between Allen and all the other QB with whom he played. “I never degrade the guys behind me, but there is a difference. Josh is just intentional. Josh is-it may be a system, it may be God’s gift, a bit of both, right? But it is very precise, and I am just grateful that I am with the invoices. ”

Moore was a second round choice by the jets in 2021 and he caught 80 passes combined on 132 targets for 984 yards and six affected in 27 games and 26 games, 15 of these departures. He was exchanged in the Browns in March 2023 and in two seasons there, Moore started 25 of the 34 games and caught 120 of the 206 targets for 1,178 yards and three TDs.

Even if Moore believes that he could have been better, it was not the opinion of the Bills.

“We are from the same region (southern Florida), so I followed it, I feel like all his career,” said attacking coordinator Joe Brady. “And it was really cool to see his approach, his behavior, a guy who doesn’t speak much, but that works just.”

Brady has seen what a diversified part of the offensive could be, so the Bills signed it on May 5 to a $ 2.5 million contract to reach a mixture of players who includes Khalil Shakir, Joshua Palmer, Keon Coleman and Curtis Samuel. In the current state of things, Moore looks like a very intelligent and very pleasant addition of the end of spring, and of his end, he was happy that he was patient when he was an available free agent.

“For receivers and quarters where our job is based on other people, it is very imperative to meet in the right place with the right attack, with the right guys, with the right teammates, with the right coaches,” he said. “For me, it was just a little patient, see where things cleared up after the project.

“I simply try to see what the teams needed what and where I could integrate myself, and obviously, who showed that they wanted me. In the end, it’s like something of 50 to 50. Of course, you want to be in the best position, but the team must have a plan for you too. And after things were written, the bills were the most consistent, and I was grateful that this opportunity even opened. ”.

Moore was one of the best attacks in attack during the first days of the camp while he is building confidence with Allen. After each training, he stayed on the ground with Shakir to pump him for information on the offense.

“Shakir has just been paid by them, he knows the offensive, he is someone on whom they rely mentally, physically and use his brain with regard to the parts and why and how he does things and asking questions,” said Moore.

“Me and play different. It is a contractions, it is a very intelligent and intelligent receiver that is patient, then I can accelerate, change speed. I am more like a road runner, straight. I want her game more in my game and we want to exchange a little. So, we conversed after training, trying to see how he thinks better. ”

With the exception of his recruit season when he aligned himself mainly as an external receiver, his divisions between the outside and the slit are close to 50-50, and the invoices will probably use it in the same way.

“Regarding their sight, they told me both,” he said. “It is fair to play it in the ear, wherever my role is outside, inside, just make sure to focus on it and make sure I open. I love adding to a room and a team and an organization, I feel better.
