Nothing seems to immerse themselves or overwhelm the New York giants, the offensive tackle recruited Marcus Mmbow, a choice of fifth round that was impressive this summer.

After Wednesday’s joint practice against New York Jets, Mbow was sitting on a bench in the installation of the giants’ room by answering questions from a small group of interested journalists.

Is it difficult to be rebounded from right to left by the giants after playing exclusively on the right side to Purdue?

“It’s a challenge, but it’s nothing too incomprehensible to me,” said Mbow. “The way my body moves, I have no trouble going from left to right.

“It’s something to get used to it. It’s different, everything is reversed. The body is not as used to moving the same exact way, your hips are different and everything. But I wouldn’t say it’s too bad. I mean, for me, I have the impression that it is not the most difficult thing in the world. ”

What about the improvement he has shown since the start of the training camp, from the third team to obtain rehearsals from the first team?

“I know that is part of the reason why I left the college early is to go against Better Competition day after day and focus on being pro,” said Mbow. “So I have the impression that this is one of them, just the representatives against good competition.”

How did he think he had done on Wednesday, taking representatives of the first team team in the right tackle with Eluemunor Jermaine at home to celebrate the birth of a girl?

“I would say it went well,” said Mbow, “is just football at the end of the day. So, just putting representatives together, from back to back, just trying to give my best.”

Did he learn something about the rivalry of giants-games during joint practices?

Mbow described work as “two intense practices”.

“It was not something too crazy. University football, good rivalries that come back, high school growing up, everything. There is always a rivalry,” said Mbow. “There is always bad blood between two teams.

“As a new one, you start to feel it every time. Each time it happens, it becomes more and more. I would say that I already feel it. I am quite strong in it.”

With Andrew Thomas remaining on the list physically unable to perform (PUP), does Mmbow think he is a legitimate left tackle option despite his limited experience there?

“I would say it. I mean, I trust my abilities. I like to play football,” said Mbow. “It’s just football at the end of the day.”

His reaction to the skirmish he was on the ground for Wednesday when the defenders of the jets threw Ballon Tyrone Tracy?

“Smart reprisals,” said Mbow. “I respect the wishes of the coaches not to fight, but it happens to a point where you cannot let people jump on you.

    “Once, that’s too much.”

What about the subject of a very complementary “baldy breakdown” after Saturday’s pre-season match against the Buffalo Bills?

“It was cool,” was the answer in terms of Mbow.

Recruitment comrade Jaxson Dart noted Mbow’s behavior as positive.

“He is certainly certainly, and I think that is one of his strengths, because as a recruit, you will make mistakes, and there is a lot of learning that you have to make, and I think it has just been mature,” said Dart. “He makes a mistake, he is not agitated, he is able to come back and respond. He has been thrown in many different situations, starting with the three and making jumps and playing with those. I thought he had done an excellent job.”

Head coach Brian Daboll liked what he saw of Mbow.

“I think he has acquitted well,” said Daboll. “He has done a good job to pick up our information. There are always games to learn, but he has done a good work of communication with the one next to him. He makes progress and that’s what you want from these young players.”

One thing obtained a more energetic reaction from 22 years. Pre-Rôti screening reports, Including this BBV Nick Falato Nick Falatosaid Mbow should probably play custody in the NFL.

The giants only used it in the tackle.

I asked him on Wednesday if, in his heart, he believed he was a tackle of the NFL. Mmbow looked up with my seat and said to me:

    “Yeah, I would say it.”

    He then added:

    “Do you think?”

So far, there is no reason not to do it.
