Planned depth table of the Bears 2025 before the list cuts

THE Chicago Bears are in the middle of list cuts before the deadline on Tuesday (Follow our tracker here), where they cut the list of 91 to 53 players.

Polish Ryan Managing Director has difficult decisions before him while he fills depth in various positions. With concerns of injuries and depth in the ball carrier, the cornerback and the offensive tackle, we could see posts making movements to land new players – whether via trade before the list cuts or via the derogation wire. We have tried to do the same in our last projection of the alignment of 53 men, which saw the departures of certain pre-season stars and the favorites of the fans.

In this spirit, before Bear Officially cut their list to 53 players, here is an overview of our current projected depth board:

    Strategist

    • Reserves: Tyson Bagent, Keenum case

The Bears brought Keenum Case to serve as mentor for Caleb Williams. But Tyson Bagent turned out to be a solid backup during his two seasons in the League, and he clearly won the QB2 post (with a contract extension of $ 10 million over two years as an exclamation point). It would not be out of the question that the team carries three QB.

    Back

    • Reserves: Kyle Monangai, Roschon Johnson, Travis Homer

The bears are struck with the ball carrier, where Andre Swift and Brittain Brown are the only healthy. Assuming that Roschon Johnson does not turn on the injured reserve when he left away, Brown is the strange man (because Travis Homer brings to the value of the special teams).

    Wide receiver

    • Beginners: DJ Moore, Rome Odunze

    • Reserves: OLAMIDE ZACCHEAUS, LUTHER BURDEN III, Devin DUVERNAY, JAHDAE WALKER

The best Bears receptor spots have been locked up for some time while DJ Moore, Rome Odunze, Olamide Zaccheaus, Luther Burden III and Devin Duvernay all have roles on this list. Assuming that Chicago carries six widout widths, this last place should go to the not recovered fellow Jahdae Walker, which has just come out of an impressive pre-season final.

    END

    • Beginners: Cole Kmet, Colston Loveland

The first three tight ends were locked before the training camp, it seems. Cole Kmet is currently listed as the starter. But many expect it to change as soon as Colaton Loveland continues to grow in this offense after missing the off -season program. The blocking prowess of Durham Smythe obtain the end of the end.

    Offensive line

    • Beginners: Braxton Jones (LT), Joe Thuney (LG), Drew Dalman (C), Jonah Jackson (RG), Darnell Wright (RT)

    • Reserves: Ozzy Trapilo, Theo Benedet, Luke Newman, Ryan Bates, Kiran Amegadjie

The biggest question for the Bears offensive line is the battle on the left of the tackle, which lasted far too long and seems to be approaching resolution. That said, Braxton Jones obtains the head sign for the moment given his experience and the fact that he is still working on the injury. Chicago could be more comfortable with the Ozzy Trapilo recruit on the right side and Theo Benedet has become a competitor. There are questions about the question of whether the old third round choice Kiran Amegadjie is the list, but I made him sneak.

    Rusher on board

    • Beginners: Mount Sweatshirt, Dayo Odeyingbo

    • Reserves: Austin Booker, Dominique Robinson

Climb sweatshirts and dayo odeyingbo are essentially bars to Edge Rusher, but there are questions about the question of whether they can do it out of the edge. The pre-season star, Austin Booker, should miss a few weeks with a knee injury, but it is this third rusher on board that offers a precious advantage. (We will see if he starts the year on IR). Meanwhile, Dominique Robinson is a name that has been mentioned throughout the offseason and now the training camp, and he obtains the last place.

    Defensive tackle

    • Beginners: Gervon Dexter, Grady Jarrett

    • Reserves: Andrew Billings, Shemar Turner, Chris Williams

The Bears will climb inside Grady Jarrett, Gervon Dexter and Andrew Billings this season, which will make the interior defensive line a problem for opposing offenses. While the recruit Shemar Turner has been sidelined with a raised ankle sprain, it obtains fourth place and should develop well along the interior. The last place is the one to be won, where Chris Williams beat the old choice of third round Zacch Pickens for the head sign.

    Second

    • Beginners: Tremaine Edmunds, TJ Edwards, Noah Sewell

    • Reserves: Ruben Hyppolite II, Amen Ogbongbemiga

The secondary is a group that seems to be settled with TJ Edwards and Tremaine Edmunds entering their third season together. The only question is who will align where, between Mike and Will, as Dennis Allen, experienced them in several positions. Noah Sewell seems to have won the LB3 secondary position on the Ruben Hyppolite II recruit, which will provide a solid depth with Amen Ogbongbemiga.

    Corner

    • Beginners: Jaylon Johnson, Tyrique Stevenson, Kyler Gordon

    • Reserves: Nahshon Wright, Josh Blackwell, Nick McCloud

The cornerback was the deepest position of the Bears – but it was also the most prey to injuries during the summer. Jaylon Johnson and Kyler Gordon were confronted with injuries but tend to return of week 1. But Chicago suffered a hard blow when they lost the depth of Terell Smith for a knee injury at the end of the season. After the brutal pre-season of Nahshon Wright, I have the Tyrique Stevenson pencil in the opposite of Johnson.

    Security

    • Beginners: Jaquan Brisker, Kevin Byard

    • Reserves: Jonathan Owens, Elijah Hicks

It is another position group that already appears with Jaquan Brisker and Kevin Byard for their second year with Elijah Hicks and Jonathan Owens serving as precious depth contributors and special teams. No surprise here.

    Specialists

    • Beginners: Cairo Santos (K), Tory Taylor (P), Scott Daly (LS)

While the Bears have preached competition in all positions on the list, Cairo Santos, Tory Taylor and Scott Daly feel safe at this stage. The Bears cut Jonathan Kim earlier this summer, which means that Santos is back as a kicker. Meanwhile, Daly obtains the head sign on Luke Elkin at Long Snapper.

    Return specialists

    • First team: Devin Duvernay (KR / PR)

    • Second team: Josh Blackwell (KR / PR)

While Devin Duvernay provides a precious depth to the wide receiver, he was brought to serve as a kick -off and a booty reversal for the Bears. Josh Blackwell also brings a precious experience to the table.
