The main story relating to New York Jets The offensive line facing the Denver Broncos is a player who will not wear the uniform.

Focus on professional football said maybe it didn’t really matter.

The football analytics outlet ranked every offensive line in the NFL ahead of Week 4. The Jets (2-1) saw their unit move to the top of the list despite the loss of Morgan Moses.

Moses, New York’s right tackle, will be replaced by first-round rookie Olu Fashanu against the Broncos (1-2) due to a knee injury. PFF still has the Jets’ unit ranked sixth in the league at present.

Currently, PFF ranks the Jets’ next starting O-line as follows:

    • Tyron Smith: 68.9

    • John Simpson: 64.4

    • Joe Tippmann: 82.9

    • Alijah Vera-Tucker: 70.6

    • Olu Fashanu: 70.8

PFF’s full breakdown of the Jets offensive line can be found below:

Right tackle Morgan Moses left the Week 3 game with a knee injury and was replaced by Olu Fashanu. The rookie played 14 snaps and earned a 70.8 overall PFF grade, the second-highest mark on the Jets offensive line.

Center Joe Tippmann continues his solid sophomore season. The Wisconsin product’s 85.8 overall PFF grade in the win over New England was a career-high mark, and his 82.9 overall PFF grade through three weeks ranks fourth among centers.

    Best player: Tyron Smith

Smith’s 2024 season is off to a rough start, as he allows pressure on 9.2% of drops – the worst rate of his career.
