THE Los Angeles Rams have missed Rob Havenstein in their last three games. He was sidelined with an ankle injury, which he suffered during the team’s Week 9 win over the Seattle Seahawks.
He made progress even though his recovery took longer than expected, participating in two limited practices Thursday and Friday last week. Barring a setback, it appears he’s on track to play against the New Orleans Saints this week.
Sean McVay said Tuesday that the Rams “expect to get Rob Havenstein back,” which is great news.
“There is,” McVay said of the possibility of Havenstein playing. “I think he tends to think it’s more likely than less. We’ll see how training goes tomorrow, but that’s the plan.
Havenstein has missed four games this season and the Rams have gone just 1-3 in those contests. Warren McClendon Jr. and Joe Noteboom both helped fill in during those absences, with McClendon starting the last two games against the Patriots and Eagles.
