At this point, the Los Angeles Rams probably expect to be quiet every week, even when they are home.
That will likely be the case again on Sunday when the Buffalo Bills and their fans come to town for a critical Week 14 showdown. According to predictions from Vivid Seats fans47% of the crowd this weekend is expected to be Bills fans.
That’s a significant number, especially since Buffalo is 2,500 miles from Los Angeles. This shows how well Bills fans travel, no matter the distance. However, they’re not the first fan base to take over SoFi Stadium, and they won’t be the last.
The Rams had no home-field advantage against the 49ers or Packers earlier this season, and Eagles fans were also in strong presence two weeks ago in SoFi.
Offensive coordinator Mike LaFleur said Thursday that the Rams are “always prepared for the noise in SoFi,” although he would probably prefer it not be so loud when Los Angeles has the ball.
“We’re always prepared for the noise in SoFi. It is what it is but yes, they travel well. The ‘Mafia’ travels well so we will be prepared like we always are,” he said.
On the bright side, the Rams having no discernible home field advantage in most of their games in Inglewood should prepare them well for how loud Bills fans will be on Sunday.
