Now that he has already conquered the high school ranks as the head coach of his alma mater, former Carolina Panthers Quarterback Teddy Bridgewater may be considering another stop in the big leagues.
Bridgewater, who just led Miami Northwestern Senior High School to its first state title since 2019, joined Tuesday’s episode of The initiatedwith NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero and Ian Rapoport. The 32-year-old, who retired from the NFL last February, has hinted at a return for the remainder of the current campaign.
A first-round draft pick of the Minnesota Vikings in 2014, Bridgewater spent the 2020 campaign as starting quarterback for Carolina. In his 15 games as a Panther, he passed for a career-high 3,733 yards with 15 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.
His last down came in Week 5 of the 2023 season, as a member of the Detroit Lions.
