CeeDee Lamb has been on fire once again this season for the Dallas Cowboys. Despite injuries all around him, Lamb continues to rack up receptions and yards.
He enters Week 16 with 94 receptions for 1,089 yards and six touchdowns. This is the fourth year in a row that he has surpassed 1,000 yards and he continues to prove that he is one of the best playmakers in the NFL.
However, Lamb is accumulating more than statistics this season: he is also accumulating a lot of fines.

During the Cowboys’ game against the Carolina Panthers in Week 15, Lamb was asked to change his cleats because they had green and gray in their color. The league requires players to wear all-white cleats if they do not match their team’s colors.
Lamb, who turned white at halftime, said he was an NFL target and had been “a lot of fine” this season.
“I got a lot of fines this year, bro, I’m like a target, I don’t understand,” Lamb said according to Calvin Watkins of The Dallas Morning News. “I feel like I dress the same as the other guys, I’m not saying they should get fined too, I just feel like I shouldn’t get fined either fine.”
His fines relate to various uniform violations, from his shirt being undone to his socks being too low. The cleats have also been an issue, he was fined for wearing neon green Kobe 6 Vapor Edge cleats – known as the Grinch.
Lamb said he didn’t know what he did to upset the league’s uniform inspectors, who did not fine other players for wearing the Grinch cleats. He even tried to make sure he was in compliance before games, but to no avail.
“Yeah. I tried, they couldn’t smell me,” he said. “They don’t feel me at all. I don’t know what I did or what I did. I apologize.”
The NFL has been criticized in the past for discouraging players from having fun, and this report is exactly that. They may not be wearing the cleats, but we know who the real Grinches are.
