The Green Bay Packers have selected a Penn State player in back-to-back NFL drafts. In the 2023 draft, Brian Gutekunst selected Sean Clifford in the fifth round and in the 2024 draft, he selected Kalen King in the seventh round.
If Gutekunst returns to the Nittany Lion prospect pool in the 2025 NFL Draft, he could have his eyes on one of those three prospects when Penn State faces SMU in the College Football Playoff.
Dani Dennis-Sutton, Edge
Abdul Carter is getting all the attention and it’s well deserved. The explosive rusher will likely be a Top 10 pick and will be taken off the board long before Green Bay is on the clock.
On the other side is Dennis-Sutton, who has recorded 33 pressures, seven tackles for loss and four sacks this season. At 6-5, 270 pounds, the Penn State product looks the part and is a long lever rusher. He uses his long strides to chase the football. Over the last four games, he has recorded two sacks, 14 pressures and nine run stops.
Nicholas Singleton, R.B.
Singleton is a dynamic fullback, who comes out of the chute quickly. He has the vision to locate the reduction pathway. With his speed, Singleton threatens to create a big play every time he touches the ball. The Penn State product brings value on special teams as a kick returner.
Kobe King, LB
King is a slender linebacker with quick feet. It can descend quickly and has a good final impulse. After drafting his twin brother Kalen in the 2024 NFL Draft, the Packers could target Kobe in Day 3 of the 2025 NFL Draft as they look to add depth to the linebacker room.
