Graham Glasgow was listed as a limited participant in Friday’s practice, but the Detroit LionsIt is doubtful whether the starting left guard will be able to play Sunday against the Chicago Bears due to a knee injury.
“We’re working on it,” Glasgow told the Free Press. “We’ll see.”
Glasgow played all 79 offensive snaps in last week’s loss to the Buffalo Bills, but needed x-rays after the game. He did not practice Wednesday or Thursday, when Lions coach Dan Campbell held most of the starting line out of practice for rest.

Frank Ragnow, Taylor Decker and Kevin Zeitler did not participate in practice Wednesday, and Ragnow joined Glasgow on the sideline Thursday. None have an injury designation for Sunday.
Campbell said before practice that he didn’t expect Glasgow to practice Friday at all. Rookie sixth-round pick Christian Mahogany could make his first career start if Glasgow can’t play.
The Lions ruled Running back David Montgomery out for Sunday’s game with a knee injury and will not activate linebacker Jalen Reeves-Maybin from injured reserve after beginning his 21-day return to practice window Thursday.
Safety Brian Branch is listed as questionable but expected to play with a calf injury, and Ifetu Melfonwu practiced fully for the third straight day Friday and could come off IR Sunday to help the Lions’ shorthanded defense.
Campbell said this week that Melifonwu could contribute in a hybrid safety and linebacker role. The Lions are without starting cornerback Carlton Davis III, likely for the remainder of the year.
“A lot of it was getting his legs back under him, getting him comfortable this week,” Campbell said of Melifonwu. “I’m not closed to him playing. He’s gotten a little bit better every day and he’ll go out there today and practice and we’re working on him in some areas – just see where he goes is. But it’s good to have him back and it’s good to see him out there, functioning, in that position, and so that’s a good thing.
