THE 2025 NFL Draft Order underwent some changes after a few days of busy games during the holiday week.
While the 49ers remain in 11th place overall pending a “Monday Night Football” game against the Detroit Lionsanother NFC West game shuffled the draft order.
THE Cardinals lose 13-9 The Los Angeles Rams moved Arizona from 15th to 12th, just one behind San Francisco. However, after losses to the Indianapolis Colts and Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, Arizona now holds the 14th spot overall.
The highest pick the 49ers could potentially land in the 2025 draft would be the No. 11 overall pick.
San Francisco can no longer overtake the New Orleans Saints for the No. 11 pick. The Saints’ defeat against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday allowed San Francisco to finish the season at best with the same record as New Orleans. I
However, if both teams finish with the same record, the tiebreaker goes to New Orleans for having a weaker schedule (.510) than San Francisco (.564).
San Francisco last held the No. 11 pick in the 2010 NFL Draftby selecting offensive tackle Anthony Davis out of Rutgers. Davis started 79 games for the 49ers, including eight playoff appearances, over six seasons.
