As the deadline approaches for freshman class to declare for the 2025 NFL Draft, several top prospects have announced their decisions.
A trio of decisions Penn State stars have implications for the Denver Broncos.
First, the bad news: Nittany Lions running backs Nicholas Singleton And Kaytron Allen to have chose to return for the 2025 college football season. This gives the Broncos two fewer quality RBs to choose from in April.
Now the good news: Penn State tight end Tyler Warren declared for the 2025 NFL Draft. Warren won the John Mackey Award – given to the nation’s top tight end – after making 104 receptions for 1,233 yards and eight touchdowns as a redshirt senior in 2024.
Warren would be a dream choice and seemingly a perfect fit for coach Sean Payton’s offense. A former quarterback, Warren is a versatile weapon with big-play ability and reliable blocking.
Denver is preparing to choose 20th overall during the 2025 NFL Draft on April 24. There’s no guarantee Warren will still be available at this spot, but the Broncos could move up if Payton falls in love with this prospect. Stay tuned.
