Detroit Auto Show hosts Lions pep rally ahead of divisional playoff game

Local headliner Mike Posner and Detroit rapper GMAC Cash were among the musical performers at the All Roads Lead to Detroit pep rally on the eve of Saturday’s divisional playoffs with the Washington Commanders at Ford Field.

DETROIT (FOX 2) – The Detroit Auto Show hosted a rally for the Lions Friday night – with music, energy and special guests.

Local headliner Mike Posner and Detroit rapper GMAC Cash were among the musical performers at the All Roads Lead to Detroit pep rally on the eve of Saturday’s divisional playoffs with the Washington Commanders at Ford Field.

Among the special visitors, former Lions great Herman Moore provided some inspiring words, as did fan favorite TJ Lang, former offensive lineman and current Lions sideline radio reporter.

Lang said the roar of the crowd at Ford Field goes a long way.

“I get it all the time,” Lang told the crowd. “Fans come and say, ‘Is the noise that big? Can the players hear us singing?’ Hell yes, it’s true, you make a difference.”

Fans from all eras were present, including Paul Lacroix whose family members are ticket holders for the 70th anniversary.

FOX 2: “Is this moment cool for you?” »

“Oh, that’s great,” he said. “I can’t believe it. Every game is like going to a college game. I never use my seat.”
