THE Saint-Orleans saints The quarter-back situation is suddenly pending with speculation on an exchange with Derek Carr which are starting to intensify. If this happens, the saints would probably be looking for a new veteran to guide their young smugglers on the list.
Blancheurs report Kristopher Knox Recently suggested that they avoid reunion with an ancient quarterly, because they were designated as the worst landing point for Andy Dalton this offseason. Here is what Knox had to say about his reasoning:
If Carr remains in New Orleans, Dalton can only hope for a low level safeguard contract with the saints. If they separate from Carr, he may have the chance to compete with Jake Haener and Spencer Rattle for the departure position. However, he should do so within the framework of an advantageous contract and for a new team of coaches that he does not know. Dalton would have almost nothing to gain from a meeting of saints.
For reference, the best landing point was with the Tennessee titans. It is a place where it could obtain a contract greater than at least while having a chance to compete given the lack of talent in this quarter-back room.
Dalton should not however be too picky, because he is clearly not in the best form of his career. He started five games, played in six, for the Carolina Panthers last season. He completed 66.3 % of his passes for 989 yards with seven affected and six interceptions.
If he can obtain a good size agreement for any reason elsewhere, he must absolutely accept it. New Orleans may not be the worst case. He knows the city well and a handful of veterans who will still be part of the team since his last race.
