The rivalry of Baltimore Ravens-Pittsburgh steelers has developed a tradition, so players who can be largely forgotten in the wider landscape of NFL are important figures of this quarrel.

One of these players is the former quarter of the Steelers Charlie Batch, who spent most of his 14-year career as a replacement. However, there remains a folk hero at Pittsburgh due to a unique moment.

On December 2, 2012, Batch made its last start of the NFL against the Ravens in Baltimore and guided the Steelers towards an upset victory 23-20. He completed 25 of the 36 passes for 276 yards, a touchdown and an interception, not the craziest statistics in the world, but enough to do the work.

During an appearance on the “Ryan Ripken Show”, “ The lot thought about this final beginning and How Pittsburgh fans always worship him More than 12 years later.

“When you come to Pittsburgh, it’s as if you were not doing your time before playing in the Baltimore game,” said Batch. “You make this game, people remember you for you and they talk about it for years. In my case … having the opportunity to go there, they were 9-2. … We went there -Be and beaten them in their house.

Although it was a characteristic moment for a lot, the Ravens ended up being laughing. They ended up winning the Super Bowl XLVII two months later, ending one of the largest playoff series that the League has ever seen. Meanwhile, the Steelers lost three consecutive games after this victory, finishing 8-8 and completely missing the playoffs.

Again, we could say that moments like this are what makes rivalry formidable, everything can happen at any time.
