Of all the former Texas A & M Aggies players having an impact in the NFL today, the wide receiver of the Buccaneers of Tampa Bay Mike Evans and the defensive winger of Cleveland Browns Myles Garrett are definitively at the top of the list.
Evans, 31, was undoubtedly the most coherent receiver in the league throughout his career, recording more than 1,000 yards during each of his 11 seasons to equalize Jerry Rice for the longest sequence of the History of the NFL. On the other hand, Garrett, 31, is one of the most dominant on the league, recording 102.5 bags in eight seasons and winning the defensive player of the year in 2023.
However, Garrett could be in motion this offseason. The quadruple All-Pro recently asked for a Cleveland profession, and despite the insistence of the Browns to keep it, it seems very possible that it plays elsewhere this fall.
If so, he could perhaps team up with his colleague Aggie Alun. When appearing on the Podcast “loose cannons”Evans, a high school basketball player, was also asked to play sports in high school, and slipped a small recruitment ground in his response.

“He will seem great in Bucs Red too,” said Evans.
Now, it should be noted that Evans and Garrett have not really played together at A&M, because the first left for the NFL just before the arrival of the last on the campus. However, they were both exceptional players during their stay at College Station. Evans joined forces with Johnny Manziel to form one of the most dynamic offenses in the history of the program, while Garrett anchored a robust defensive front for three years.
BUCS should remove impressive cap gymnastics to land Garrett and push back several other contenders, but if they can, maybe the two Aggie icons could finally play together.
