THE Chicago Bears Had a rough 2024 season, ending with a 5-12 file which included a sequence of 10 consecutive defeats, two head coaches and three different offensive coordinators. Now that the dust has set up under the new head coach Ben Johnson and his coache staff, they have to do a lot for the team and the list to take another step.
One thing they can do to improve is to learn triumphs manufactured by the Washington CommandersWho was worse than the Bears in 2023 and better than them in 2024. A choice after the Bears selected the quarter-Arrière Caleb Williams, the commanders took Jayden Daniels to the draft of the NFL 2024. The two are players Incredibly talented, but Williams was considered the player with the upper ceiling that leaves the university.
During the 2024 season, there is no doubt that Daniels and the commanders were better. He led them to more victories than Williams, the team around him was better and the coach staff had a lot more impact. Commanders went to the NFC championship and were at a Super Bowl victory. It was an impressive year of which they should be very proud as an organization. They did everything just after being the second NFL team the previous year.
This does not mean, however, that commanders will be a dynasty and that bears will be horrible during their reign. Chicago would be intelligent to learn from them. They don’t do the same, but the NFL is a copying league.
If the Bears selected Daniels instead of Williams, he would have had the same season as Williams. For what? Because the offensive line was horrible, they had three offensive coordinators and two chief coaches.
The commanders put their best foot forward, which allowed them to go from the worst to the first. This could be a recipe that bears follow to bring them into the mixture of the playoffs. Designing a Playbook specifically for the skills of their quarter-arre is something that Washington has excelled while the Bears have failed. This is where Ben Johnson and his staff come in.
The Bears have written a large quarter-Arrière as the commanders did. With Johnson now in place, Chicago is about to have a bounce season.
